A Tradition with a Twist
A Fundraiser with Quirky and Classic Art

This year, we’re adding new twist to our traditional Art for $100 fundraiser. Alongside the classic collection of original artworks donated by our generous patrons, IOWAL artists will take outdated, faded works of art and give them a modern makeover. Whether it's a faded landscape turned pop collage or a dusty still life reimagined with bold new strokes, these transformed pieces are a tongue-in-cheek homage to our changing culture.
Each piece will be auctioned off for no more than $100 — all proceeds benefit the Arts Center @ 319. So whether you're drawn to the traditional or the delightfully unconventional, you're sure to find something to refresh your space — and support the arts in our community

Bold as Brass invites artists to explore the visual and symbolic presence of metal — whether through the materials themselves or through creative representations of metallic forms, objects, or ideas. This exhibition is a chance to see how metal’s resilience and brilliance inspire fresh perspectives and unexpected connections.

It's Inevitable
New takes on Memento Mori

Memento mori, Latin for “remember you must die,” is deeply embedded in art history. Artists have used various symbols like skulls, hourglasses, decaying flowers and candles to reflect the fleetingness of life and the inevitability of death. This exhibition encourages artists to explore these themes with fresh perspectives and innovative approaches, moving beyond traditional interpretations to offer unique insights into what binds us in life: the human condition.
